How we measure

  • People reached

Each person is counted once per response, from partner distribution lists that record household size. If a family receives water, shelter and cash, they are counted once.

  • Homes rebuilt

We count only homes signed off by the family and by an independent engineer.

  • Time to first distribution

Runs from the first verified alert to the first recorded delivery. It is a median, so half our responses were faster and half slower.

Where our figures are estimates, we say so. When we get something wrong, we correct it here and note the date of the correction.
